| Seems that nobody uses Xanga anymore, now that Facebook has Notes...so, I gave in.
Thanksgiving was really fun, I went to Great Bend with my family to see
relatives. I felt a lot better about "growing up" because, like David
told me, I can still live my own life and see my family every
once in a while (man, he's smart). I wanted to watch the Chiefs/Broncos
game because David was going to be on it (he's in the army, so he got
to be up close and help set up the halftime show), but we couldn't pick
it up on TV. Jayhawks beat the Gators, though.
Anyways, we ate Thanksgiving dinner at my Aunt Marla's house, watched
sports, fed the ducks at the zoo, drove around to see Christmas lights,
saw a "Santas Around the World" exhibit, and did the usual "go to
Barton County Historical Village and swim at grandpa's spa." Check
out the pics!
Now, it's that time of the school year where it's "crunch time." I can't wait for Winter Break!

| So, does this mean Britney is hot again? As for my life, it's going pretty good. Halloween was fun. Dressed up as Wonder Woman and David win a beer pong tournament at Lauren's party. Went to the military ball with David over the weekend and that was really fun. I never went to my high school prom, so it was fun to get all prettied up. Actually, the ball was like prom without the high school drama and, of course, it had that formal/military structure feeling to it. My favorite rule was the guys had to stand up every time a girl left her seat/went back to her seat. After the ball, we went with the Navy people to Dave & Buster's until 2am. There are pics on Facebook if you wanna see how hot we are! Well, I guess I could post one:
Well, gotta get on with my fairly busy night: study for an Art History test (why do impressionists have to give their paintings long titles?), finish my report for TV journalism class, desperately need to do laundry, and I'm on night duty...so I gotta go on my first round at 7. | | |
| Got my wisdom teeth out over Fall Break. The whole thing went well cuz I was totally out and I had my family and boyfriend to take care of me, but I'm having a bad reaction to the painkillers and that sucks. These pics were taken the day after surgery:

| OK, so I'm not that scared of growing up...it's just an "Omigod-I-can't-believe-it" moment. Have I told y'all how much I love youtube.com? I can watch Animaniacs, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, and old school Sesame Street on it! It's an amazing thing! Useless trivia about me: I'm on KJHK Monday nights at 6pm reading the news...and it's fun, so tune in! Man,
I've been watching so much TV this week: Peter Griffen bought an
army tank...wackiness ensued, "7th Heaven" rose from the dead (get
it? cuz it was cancelled after 10 seasons and the show is waaay
Christian), Flava Flav is down to 3 girls and the show has been damn
interesting since New York came back, and Jerry Springer is the most
adorable man on "Dancing with the Stars." I did miss "America's Next
Top Model" last night because I was being a fun RA and holding a "do
things when you were a kid" program, but I can catch the makeovers on
Sunday night. David is still my man, currently going on 1 year and 1 month. Stole this from Mercer: >>>VIRGO<<< >Dominant in relationships. >Sexy. >Someone loves them right now. >Freak in bed. >Always wants the last word. >Caring. >Smart. >Addictive. >Attractive. >Loud. >Loyal. >Easy to talk to. >Hard to forget.
